Class description

Zoom classes will be at a slower pace and with a few more modifications

Yoga classes at Everyday Yoga are designed to facilitate the development of a meaningful and fulfilling personal practice. The classes are based on Astanga Vinyasa Yoga taught in a non-traditional way. 

 

The classes are systematic and efficient, offering a set of well-rounded routines that work the entire body, emphasizing the link between movement and conscious breathing (the technique of ujjayi pranayama), precisely what turns posing into a moving meditation. The approach is practical and accessible, free from hype, dogma and fluff.  Take the level that suits your energy and experience. Relax, breathe and go with the flow.

Astanga Vinyasa Yoga 
Astanga Primary Serie: 
Mostly forward bends to stretch and elongate the backside, create balance in the body and to get stronger.
Astanga 2. Serie:
Mostly backbending, twists and inversions to make the energy (prana) flow more freely

Guided Class: 

The traditional Primary Series taught in a non-traditional format.

You will be guidet through Primary Series accordingly go as far as the days class is fit for - there might be offered modifications.

If you are familiar with Primary Series you are welcome to practice in your own pace (MYSORE)

Tuesdays  at 17:00

In this class you will learn:

 - Breath Technique (Ujjayi Pranayama)

 - Using Bandha (energy locks)

 - Transitions such as jump throughs, jumpbacks and lifting off from the ground

Rocket Vinyasa Yoga

Rocket Vinyasa Yoga
Rocket I: Based on Astanga Primary Serie added postures from 2. Series
Rocket II: Bases on Astanga 2. Serie added postures from  3. serie
Rocket III HAPPY HOUR: A fusion of Rocket I and Rocket II; 90 minutes for 90 postures.

Rocket Vinyasa Light:

Guided class

A good class that have never attended a Rocket class before.

The Rocket I focuses mostly on leg flexibility, spinal stretches, twists and alignment. Based on Astanga Primary Serie added postures from 2. Series.

This class also includes some pilates moves for core strength awareness purposes.

This class is for new students to The Rocket and will prepare students for the more demanding classes.

In this class you will learn:

-Breath Technique (Ujjayi Pranayama)

-Using Bandha (energy locks)

-Transitions such as jump throughs, jumpbacks and lifting off from the ground

-Forearm balance, handstands and arm balance.

Tuesdays at 19:00

Rocket Vinyasa: 

​

Guided class.

The Rocket I focuses mostly on leg flexibility, spinal stretches, twists and alignment. Based on Astanga Primary Serie added postures from 2. Series.

Rocket II os based on Astanga 2. Serie added postures from 3. Series.This class also includes some pilates moves for core strength awareness purposes.

This class focuses mostly on endurance, upper body strength, arm & hand balancing and back bending and twist.

Thursdays at 17:00

In this class you will learn:

-Breath Technique (Ujjayi Pranayama)

-Using Bandha (energy locks)

-Transitions such as jump throughs, jumpbacks and lifting off from the ground

-Forearm balance, handstands and arm balance.

A fusion og Rocket I and Rocket II.
